The subject artwork has been created by digitally combining the image of a sunset, taken at Indian Shores Beach, Florida, with that of a rose, taken at my home in Lutz, Florida. In making separate prints of the sunset and rose, I was struck by the similarity of colors in the two photos. The resulting combination invokes an image of the clouds having been perfectly blown into the shapes of the two roses by God, as if to please the lone pelican on the beach. [Edition of 100]
